Michele Hyndman Hodge is a Senior Manager in the Tax Department of the Firm’s Miami office. She has more than 10 years of tax experience, withspecific expertise in US international taxation.

Ms. Hodge specializes in advising large to middle market multinational clients on the US aspects of international taxation. Her expertise includes tax implications of cross-border business transactions; structuring business entities; minimizing global tax exposure, and efficient repatriation of earnings. Ms. Hodge is a tax attorney and well versed in tax issues, including tax withholding, foreign tax credits, and foreign income sourcing, facing multinational business entities.

Ms. Hodge has previously held international tax positions in various “Big Four” accounting firms, including a “Big Four” accounting firm in the US Virgin Islands. She has provided legal tax advice while working in a tax law firm and has focused on tax treaty issues while working in a premier tax law publishing company. Ms. Hodge also interned with the United States Congress Joint Committee on Taxation.

Kelly Lightfoot Feuer is a co-chair of the OWIT-South Florida Programming Committee and an attorney with Fuerst, Ittleman, David, & Joseph, PL. She focuses her legal practice in food, drug, and life sciences regulation. She assists domestic and international clients with regulatory and legal compliance issues involving the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the Federal Trade Commission, and other federal, state, and local authorities.

Ms. Feuer has extensive experience representing clients in various federally regulated industries, including the medical device, food, dietary supplement, cosmetic, veterinary products, over-the-counter drug, and medical tourism industries.  She has assisted clients with product development, formulation, manufacture, labeling, importation and exportation, distribution, and advertising and marketing. Specifically, she handles matters involving FDA-regulated products detained upon importation into the United States, FDA Import Alert matters, FTC-regulated advertising disputes, and FDA Warning Letters.  Additionally, Ms. Feuer is experienced in representing clients in customs and import matters involving medical devices, food products, and other merchandise.

Ms. Feuer is originally from Columbus, Ohio and earned her bachelor's degree in English from The Ohio State University. Ms. Feuer earned her JD from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law where she participated in the University of Miami School of Law’s international legal studies program in Greece, Italy, and the United Kingdom. Ms. Feuer also serves as a co-editor for the ABA Food, Cosmetic, and Nutraceutical Committee Newsletter.

Audrey Nielsen is the Import Compliance Manager with Bruzzone Shipping, Inc. in Pompano Beach, FL (www.bruzzone.com), and a licensed customs broker with 24+ years of experience in the customs brokerage, logistics, and freight forwarding industry. Jennifer Diaz is a Board Certified International Attorney who is considered an expert in international law by the Florida Bar. She joins an elite group of Board Certified International attorneys in Florida. She is the partner in charge of the Firm's Customs and International Trade practice assisting clients with issues relating to the import and export of merchandise to and from the United States.

Ms. Diaz is experienced working with the many Federal agencies including the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) regulating trade.

She handles issues relating to proper FDA labeling to registration requirements and entry procedures for cosmetic, over the counter drug, dietary supplements and medical device products; FDA voluntary recalls; classification of goods; antidumping matters; scope ruling requests; seizures, forfeitures, and mitigation of fines and penalties; Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT); trademark recordation and infringement. She has also successfully drafted Protests, Prior Disclosures, CBP Binding Ruling Requests, Freedom of Information Act Requests, and responses to CBP's Request for Information (CF 28) and Notices of Action (CF 29).

Frances was born in Belem, Brazil and spent her youth traveling with her family to Libya, The Philippines, Colombia, Argentina, Peru and Singapore, where she graduated from High School. After receiving her degree from Texas Christian University she moved to New Orleans, Louisiana and worked as Director of International Marketing for the Louisiana World Exposition. That once in a lifetime experience encouraged her to move to Miami and peruse a law degree from University of Miami. Soon after, she found herself in Baltimore, Maryland where she practiced litigation and lobbying. Frances was asked to join the Economic Development Marketing team for Maryland's Governor Parris Glendening. After five years she left to join ADP in its Site Selection/Tax Credit consulting group. After five years of working with Fortune 500s Frances was called back to Maryland as the Assistant Secretary for Economic Development. Nehama Bikovsky is a seasoned professional with 3 decades of experience in the Global Maritime and Logistics industry. Her vast experiencetranscends to key managerial roles in Israel, the Middle East, Asia and Central America and the Caribbean.

In her current role as president of Maritime Consulting Enterprise – a global consulting company with expertise in the Caribbean's and Central America – Mrs. Bikovsky consults key players in the shipping industry as governments, port authorities, and traders to identify new opportunities, solve critical strategic and logistic challenges, streamline processes and facilitate local trade. Mrs. Bikovsky founded the company in December 2012, living her dream of providing from her own experience toward the ultimate goal of economic progress of the Caribbean region.

Prior to MCE, Mrs. Bikovsky pursued an international career at ZIM Integrated Shipping beginning in the mid-80s. In 2006 she founded in Miami the firm’s regional office for the Caribbean and Central America.
